Nurturing Families Network
Free voluntary in-home program
A curriculum based home visitation program designed to provide parenting education to first time parents. Monthly family activities and play groups. A trained family and child development specialist will provide education and support directly to you and your family.
Nurturing Connections
Insurance for you and your family
A free voluntary program that provides support, parenting education and referrals to community resources to all first time parents at Charlotte Hungerford and Sharon Hospitals. A Nurturing Connections Coordinator will visit and bring parent packet and developmental calendar.
Parenting Classes/Groups
Various classes/groups for parenting
Parenting groups that focus on parent/child relationships, child development, discipline, and skill building techniques. Examples include, 1, 2, 3 Magic for effective discipline, Prenatal/Childbirth classes and Parenting Today for basic parenting, stress management and co-parenting.
